A global educational institution is looking for a Career Development Advisor to guide students in securing job opportunities in Dubai and the UAE. This role involves providing personalized coaching, building employer relationships, and facilitating career events. By engaging with students and utilizing knowledge of recruitment trends, the advisor will help shape careers in a diverse environment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and relevant recruitment experience, ready to contribute to a high-growth business school.
You will be joining a global team of passionate Career Development Advisors who excel at coaching students to secure great jobs opportunities around the world. This role will be based out of our Dubai Campus, focusing on the UAE and wider GCC market in a lean, all hands-on deck operational environment. The role contains multiple priorities namely student advising, student engagement for events and initiatives and spotlighting the value of Hult Students to employers in the local job market.
You will be working with students to kickstart their early careers journeys in the region, whilst utilising your knowledge of globalised working trends, HR and recruitment best practices and understanding of the localised work culture in the GCC. You will draw on your excellent communication and job search strategy skills to deliver workshops, one-to-one advising sessions and contribute to building a robust network of employer partners to place Hult students each year.
Ability to use a creative approach and content creation skills to ensure engagement from students from a GenZ demographic will be key, coupled with a nothing is impossible mindset and desire to be part of a high growth, entrepreneurial business school.
This role reports to the Campus Dean and works closely with the Career Development and Employer Relations Postgraduate Team, the Undergraduate Program Management team and Undergraduate Student Development Coach and other academic and professional services teams.
