Title: Buyer - Buyer - Raw Materials

What Will Your Day Look Like?

You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. This role acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, supporting procurement strategies, contract compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for essential raw materials, ingredients and commodities, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while managing and strengthening relationships with our existing supplier base. Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
• Contracting and Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of purchasing agreements and contracts. Secure favorable terms related to pricing, quality, delivery, and payment.
• Procurement Operations: Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from creating purchase orders to coordinating logistics and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Finance, to align procurement activities with production schedules and inventory targets.

Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience: Proven experience in procurement such as a Buyer, Sourcing Specialist with a demonstrated focus on raw materials, ingredients or commodities.
