Role Summary

The Business Head – Distribution & Digital Commerce leads Techniline’s product‑led commercial business, encompassing trade, wholesale, retail, digital commerce, export markets, and physical outlets.

This role owns the full P&L of the DDC business and is accountable for revenue growth, margin discipline, channel performance, and operational efficiency across all non‑project sales. The role works closely with shared functions including Marketing, Purchasing, and Finance, and operates in clear coordination with the Systems & Solutions division.

This is a senior, execution‑focused role suited for a seasoned commercial leader with deep UAE AV / MI / Pro Audio industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business & P&L Ownership
  • Own full P&L for the Distribution & Digital Commerce business
  • Drive sustainable growth while protecting margins and cash discipline
  • Partner with the CEO on planning, targets, and performance reviews
2. Commercial Channels & Sales
  • Own all (non-project) sales across: Trade and wholesale partners, Export markets, Channel partners, Retail /walk-in customers, and Digital commerce and marketplaces
  • Establish clear pricing frameworks, channel rules, and commercial discipline
3. Platforms & Assets
  • Own the commercial performance of two physical outlets, the digital commerce platform, and key account managers
  • Ensure these platforms operate as integrated, efficient revenue engines
4. Leadership & Governance
  • Build and lead a lean, high‑performing team
  • Work closely with shared Marketing, Purchasing, and Finance functions
  • Design, evolve, and institutionalize scalable sales and commercial operations processes across channels
  • Operate within defined governance and routing frameworks alongside Projects Team
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 10+ years in commercial leadership roles within AV / MI / Pro Audio or similar distribution‑driven industries
  • Proven ownership of revenue, margin, and commercial performance
  • Deep understanding of UAE trade, wholesale, retail, and export dynamics
  • Strong commercial judgment, discipline, and execution capability
