• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues using computerized and manual testing methods
• Repair or replace faulty parts, components and systems
• Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on all serviced vehicles
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repair processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members about vehicle conditions and repair needs
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
• Perform road tests to ensure proper vehicle operation after repairs
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical school certification in automotive technology preferred
• 5-7 years of experience as an automotive mechanic
