Overview

In this senior-level role within the Automotive or Industrial Equipment industry, you will lead the strategic planning and analysis of spare parts sales. You are responsible for optimizing inventory levels, forecasting market demand across the UAE/GCC, and developing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share for the parts division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Forecasting Analyze historical data and market trends in Dubai to develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for the parts division.
  • Inventory Management Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal stock levels (SOH), minimizing “dead stock” while ensuring high fulfillment rates for fast-moving items.
  • Pricing Strategy Develop and implement competitive pricing structures for spare parts, balancing profit margins with market competitiveness against local distributors and independent shops.
  • Performance Analytics Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales turnover, gross profit, and individual sales representative performance.
  • Market Intelligence Conduct regular competitor analysis and research on the “grey market” to adjust sales tactics and protect the brand’s market share.
  • Promotion Planning Design and execute seasonal sales campaigns and loyalty programs specifically for B2B clients, workshops, and fleet owners.
  • Team Leadership Supervise and mentor a team of sales coordinators and analysts, ensuring alignment with the division’s overall financial targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience 7–10 years of experience in Sales Planning or Business Analysis, specifically within the Automotive Spare Parts or Machinery Parts industry.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Statistics. An MBA is highly preferred for this level of seniority.
  • Data Proficiency Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, Macros) and experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or specialized Automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
  • Analytical Thinking Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable sales strategies and executive-level presentations.
  • Local Knowledge Deep understanding of the UAE automotive aftermarket and the logistical landscape of Dubai (e.g., Jebel Ali Free Zone operations).
