Qualifications

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable process: This includes Processing Customer Credit application requests, invoices, payment processing, ensuring cash customer payments are collected and allocated on time.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable department: This may involve streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and improving internal controls.
  • Prepare reports and Presentations on Overview of Accounts Receivable each month/week.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with sales, legal, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate information flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting policies and procedures: Maintain accurate and complete records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls: Develop and maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
  • Customer Visits- Meet Customers to resolve Issues and build Rapport. (Key customers)
  • Assist the Group AR Manager with any additional tasks, group-level reporting, or strategic initiatives as required.
  • Conduct and support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on new and existing customers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, (Masters Desirable)
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in accounts receivable Credit or Collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (managing a team)
  • Strong understanding of Credit and Collection principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Preferable SAP).
  • Strong Credit and Collection experience within Construction/HVAC/MEP, or similar industries
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English, Arabic (advantageous)
  • Full UAE Driving License (Must have)
