Application Engineer – Electrical

Location: UAE | Department: Engineering & R&D

About the Role

We are looking for an Application Engineer – Electrical to join our Engineering & R&D team. This role involves work order processing, preparation of BOM, catalogues, IOM, technical data, and specification sheets, as well as evaluating SKM selection software and supporting product customization based on customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process work orders for standard and customized jobs with accuracy and within timelines
• Select appropriate materials and propose alternatives from inventory to ensure timely delivery
• Verify electrical wiring diagrams prepared by draughtsman
• Prepare catalogues, IOM, technical data sheets, and specification documents
• Develop and maintain SKM item codes and technical databases
• Support product modifications through CRF (Contract Review Form)
• Provide technical data for project submittals and sales support
• Evaluate SKM selection software and maintain data for software development

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical design and HVAC application engineering
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, component selection, regulations, and HVAC control concepts
• Experience in HVAC product application, design, and development
• PLC/Microprocessor programming skills are an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
