Job summary

A global trade company in Dubai is seeking a Cash Collection Specialist to manage deposits and follow up on outstanding payments. You'll assist the invoicing team and ensure compliance with accounts receivable procedures. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll liaise with customers and provide reports to management. This full-time position offers the chance to be part of a dedicated team aimed at transforming trade flows across the globe.

• Experience in cash collection practices.
• Ability to follow-up with clients on outstanding balances.
• Familiarity with general accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Collection of cash and cheques from customers.
• Deposit cash and cheques into the bank.
• Provide information related to cash collection to management.

Job description

Collection of cash and cheques from customers.

Arrange to deposit cash and cheques inbank.

Preparing receipts and send payment link to customers.

Assist the Invoicing team of Operations.

Provide SOA as and when needed by invoicing team.

Inform invoicing team on the bounced cheques.

Follow up with customers on outstanding balances.

Initiate the default cases and follow-up with the legal department till the case is closed.

Generate AR Reports from system and distribute to departments after the month end closing.

Staff Accommodation Building (obtain reports, monitor collections, liaise with the leasing agent etc.).

Compliance with AR policies and procedures.

Providing information related to cash collection to management and DP world.
