Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Property Manager for retail shopping centres in Cape Town. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, financial performance, tenant relationships, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of property management experience, and proficiency with property management software. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail property management experience.
- Strong knowledge of lease administration, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Professional certifications (CPM, RPA, or similar) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee vendor services including maintenance and security.
- Manage tenant relationships and support retention.
- Prepare and manage operating budgets and track expenses.
- Monitor rent collections and approve invoices.
- Conduct property inspections for compliance.
- Coordinate tenant build-outs and compliance with regulations.
- Develop capital improvement and preventative maintenance plans.
