Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate financial records for property portfolios, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments

  • Process and reconcile tenant and landlord accounts using MDA software

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for property operations

  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors when required

  • Ensure compliance with SARS requirements, VAT submissions, and other statutory obligations

  • Provide financial insights to management for decision-making


Requirements


  • BK Diploma in Bookkeeping (or equivalent qualification)

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the property industry with proven proficiency in MDA software

  • Strong knowledge of property management accounting principles

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
