A cruise ship hospitality company is seeking an experienced Butler to provide excellent service to guests onboard. Responsibilities include greeting guests, ensuring guest cabins are clean, serving meals, and addressing guest inquiries. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in luxury settings, possess strong attention to detail, and are fluent in English. Must have a valid passport for international travel.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage and belongings onboard the cruise ship
- Ensure all guest cabins and common areas are kept clean and well-stocked at all times
- Set up and serve meals and beverages according to guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Coordinate with other crew members to ensure seamless service for guests
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with onboard events and activities, such as cocktail parties and formal dinners
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times
- Adhere to safety and security protocols at all times
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Captain or management team
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Butler in a luxury setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Knowledge of proper table setting and service etiquette
- Familiarity with wine and cocktail service
- Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
