We are seeking a visionary and decisive Head of Portfolio Management to join our team at EVB in Johannesburg, South Africa. This leadership role will oversee and optimise investment portfolios, drive strategic growth, and ensure exceptional performance. The role involves providing portfolio management for Employee Value Banking (EVB), Personal Banking, and Private Banking South Africa (PPB SA), ensuring sustainability and profitability across the value chain.

1. Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with organisational goals and risk appetite.
2. Lead and mentor a team of portfolio managers and analysts, fostering excellence and innovation.
3. Conduct market analysis and economic research to inform investment decisions.
4. Manage high-value portfolios, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term investment objectives and strategies.
6. Present performance reports and investment recommendations to executive management and clients.
7. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in South African and global financial markets.
8. Implement and maintain risk management protocols across all portfolios.
9. Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes and systems.

• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, FAIS aligned.
• Key Individual (KI) designation.

• At least 10 years of experience in portfolio management, data analysis, credit risk, collections, or related fields.
• Experience with EVB products and services.
