Job Description

Join our clients dynamic Human Resources division as a Specialist Talent Partner focusing heavily on proactive sourcing and pipeline development. This is a strategic specialist role reporting to the Senior Manager : HR offering a fantastic opportunity to directly influence business outcomes by securing top-tier talent particularly within Sales and Finance domains. You will move beyond reactive recruitment to become a true market expert engaging passive talent and shaping the organizations employer brand in the Durban market. This role offers flexibility and the chance to partner directly with senior business leaders to tackle complex hiring challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead proactive talent sourcing and market mapping specifically targeting scarce skills and high-volume requisitions across specialized functions.
  • Develop and nurture robust long-term talent pipelines through diverse channels ensuring readiness for critical business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers providing data-driven insights on market trends talent availability and sourcing best practices.
  • Own the end-to-end candidate experience ensuring every interaction is professional empathetic and reflective of the clients high standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Talent Acquisition and HR teams to refine sourcing strategies and define precise role requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous data integrity within recruitment systems tracking key sourcing metrics (e.g. conversion ratios pipeline velocity) for accurate reporting.
  • Champion the employer brand across all sourcing activities fostering strong relationships with passive candidates.
Requirements
Must Haves (Essential)

Bachelors degree in HR Industrial Psychology Business Management or a related field.

Five to seven years of demonstrated experience in dedicated talent sourcing recruitment or talent acquisition.

Proven track record sourcing across multiple functions with strong exposure to Sales and Finance roles seen as an advantage.

Expert proficiency and proven success using LinkedIn Recruiter ATS platforms and bulk recruitment techniques.

Strong understanding of recruitment best practices market dynamics and compliance standards.

Demonstrated ability to build strong consultative partnerships with business stakeholders.

Nice to Haves (Beneficial)

Experience within a recruitment agency or an in-house corporate talent acquisition function.

Exposure to the South African financial services sector or related industries.

Experience managing onboarding processes for new hires.
