Surgical Sales Representative Job Description

To exceed sales targets and sell a comprehensive range of surgical instruments and products in a professional manner to hospitals and related healthcare professionals.

Establish strong business relationships with customers to ensure ongoing usage and market share growth.

Promote existing and new products : Actively identify new business opportunities, consistently meet sales targets, and demonstrate a structured approach to achieving objectives.

Maintain and grow existing accounts, develop new targets, promote products for use in theatre, and ensure timely order placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning : Demonstrate effective planning to achieve sales and marketing goals, take ownership of follow-through on objectives, and maintain preparedness for personal accountability.
• Reporting : Provide regular progress reports, prepare and submit forecasts in a timely manner, and attend all relevant meetings.
• Administrative Tasks : Complete all required tasks accurately and within deadlines, including planners, reports, leave forms, and expense claims.

Requirements

General Qualification, Experience and Skills Required : Completed grade 12, minimum 3-5 years surgical sales experience, demonstrated client liaison experience and skill, proficiency in MS Word package, practical experience in hospital procurement systems and processes, possess strong organizational skills and own transport with valid code 8 drivers license.
