Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer with over 8 years of experience. This role involves managing high-quality technical advisory works for utility-scale solar PV and wind projects across Southern Africa, including overseeing international projects. Candidates must have a strong grasp of solar PV designs, interpersonal communication skills, and be registered as Pr. Eng (ECSA) or in process. The position offers a competitive package up to R1.3 million CTC per annum.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with solar PV technologies.
• Experience in Wind Technology is advantageous.
• Proven expertise in solar PV project lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute technical advisory works for solar PV and wind projects.
• Conduct technical assessments and economic feasibility studies.
• Lead business development initiatives and manage client relationships.
