Lead Sales Operations
This role is ideal for an aviation-passionate professional who has experience managing sales teams and driving business growth worldwide.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the sales department to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Oversee the customer journey from inquiry through delivery, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
Collaborate closely with other departments to align sales activities with operational capabilities.
Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analyses for senior management.
Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales team to maintain a high-performance culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experienced pilot with a strong understanding of general aviation and light sport aircraft.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.
Process-driven with the ability to design, implement, and optimize sales workflows and customer pipelines.
High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, reporting, and customer communication.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a diverse sales team.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Experience :
Proven experience in a sales manager or senior sales role, ideally within aviation, manufacturing, or high-value technical products.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team.
A strong track record of meeting sales targets and driving growth.
Experience in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Good knowledge of the aviation industry or studying towards a pilot's license is essential.
