About the job RFQ Assistant Manager: Salary Administration

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in Finance; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential.

Experience: 3-5 years experience in payroll/ salary administration coupled with 1-3 years supervisory experience in the payroll/salary administration environment.

Added Advantage: knowledge and experience in interpretation and application of accrual accounting and GRAP standards. Knowledge of Public Finance act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations on public entity and other relevant regulations. Advance knowledge of e-filling, easy filling, advance excel knowledge and ERP knowledge on Oracle or SAP or AccPacc or accrual accounting compliant systems.

Key performance: The incumbent will ensure that operational, budget and resources are optimally implemented and managed; Submission of monthly emp201s and annual and bi- annual EM501s; Authorize allowances, deductions and other salary related transactions; Process, reconcile third parties and PAYE accounts; Analysis of trial balance, reconcile and correct balance sheet accounts; oversight visit and train the regions; Processing of all payroll incoming and outgoing files from third parties; Attend to all tax related queries and issuing of IRP5s; Processing of supplementary payrolls, close payroll module monthly; Ensure compliance with payroll policies and practices with applicable GRAP standards, SA-GAAP and IFRS, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Constitution and other various regulations; Respond on all payroll internal and external audit queries and assist in preparing audit pack for internal and external audit purposes Prepare and submit monthly reports; submit inputs for preparation of Annual Financial Statements and the candidate must be willing to travel.
