Job description

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

  • Accurate preparation and completion of monthly payrolls;
  • Completion of month-end reports;
  • Attending to payroll queries in a professional manner;
  • Administering payroll verifications and audits;
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time;
  • General payroll administration;
  • Active participation in the continuous workplace improvement program;
  • Adhere to Astral’s ethics policy;
  • Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys principles.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

  • Matric;
  • A tertiary qualification or at least 3 years’ experience in similar environment;
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience;
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Excellent administration skills and problem-solving skills;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence;
  • Strong administrative, accurate record keeping and time management skills;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and must be fully bilingual;
  • Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary;
  • It is essential that the successful candidate be self-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines;
