A leading logistics and maintenance company in Durban is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the complete maintenance of their facility. This role requires expertise in refrigeration systems and building upkeep, along with management of maintenance budgets and contractor scheduling. A strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance with relevant certifications is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years with preferred qualification.
• 10 years experience without preferred qualification.
• Red seal certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the plant daily.
• Repair scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
• Maintain and report on asset register.
• Manage contractors and schedule maintenance.

Operational infrastructure maintenance

Ammonia refrigeration system

Computer literate (Outlook, Excel)

Ability to work in cold environments

N4 – Matric (NQF)
