For the South African site we are looking for a Methods Engineer with Industrial Engineering experience (m / f / d).

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve workflow efficiency, equipment layouts, and material movement.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production processes.
  • Collaborate with the Production Planner to review capacity, line balancing, and schedule accuracy.
  • Monitor actual vs planned performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support planning and production teams with data-driven insights and KPI reporting.
  • Lead and track continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained across all process improvements.
Qualifications
  • B.Eng / BTech in Industrial Engineering (required).
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
  • Experience in capacity planning, line balancing, and workflow analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and general data analysis.
  • Knowledge of industrial layouts, ergonomics, and production systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP / MES systems or Power BI (advantageous).
  • Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills across all levels.
