Job Overview

The General Practitioner is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing medical support and guidance to ensure the health and well‑being of employees.

They work closely with the Health and Safety department to identify and mitigate health risks, coordinate site health teams, and maintain accurate records of vaccination.

Additionally, they consult with patients, prescribe medicine, and lead treatment plans.

They also collaborate with the site medical facility, arrange regular inspections, and participate in incident investigations and near‑miss reporting.

As a key stakeholder in employee health, the General Practitioner provides daily medical guidance, ensures patient confidentiality, and shares specialist knowledge with colleagues.

Their responsibilities include identifying and responding to life‑threatening situations, arranging ambulance services when necessary, and advising HSE and management of potential health risks.
