SharePoint Architect | Technical Lead (CONTRACT)
Johannesburg (Onsite 2x per week)
Contract | Hybrid

An exciting contract opportunity exists for a SharePoint Architect | Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of enterprise SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.

You’ll lead a small team of developers, provide architectural guidance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business value through scalable and efficient Microsoft 365 solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and implement SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx and Power Platform components.

• Lead a technical team (35 developers) and ensure delivery quality.

• Engage directly with business and technical stakeholders, translating needs into robust solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, manage sprints, and guide the team technically.

• Drive enhancements, performance tuning, and modernization of the SharePoint environment.

What You’ll Need:

• 6+ years experience in SharePoint / Microsoft 365 development and architecture.

• Proven leadership experience in managing technical delivery teams.

• Expertise in SPFx, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Microsoft certifications and knowledge of Azure integrations are advantageous.

• Fluent in English with excellent documentation and client engagement skills.
