Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform reconciliations (bank, accounts payable / receivable)
  • Draft cash flow reports and assist with client budgets
  • Assist with VAT, tax submissions, and SARS-related tasks
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure PAYE / UIF / WCA compliance
  • Manage CIPC-related duties and statutory filings
  • Prepare journal entries with proper documentation
  • Support the preparation of AFS, management accounts, and other reports
  • Provide support to senior accountants on audits and financial analysis
  • Respond to client queries and offer general admin support as needed
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Experience with key accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, payroll compliance, and statutory filings
  • Strong numerical accuracy and data integrity mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
