Your Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform reconciliations (bank, accounts payable / receivable)
- Draft cash flow reports and assist with client budgets
- Assist with VAT, tax submissions, and SARS-related tasks
- Handle payroll processing and ensure PAYE / UIF / WCA compliance
- Manage CIPC-related duties and statutory filings
- Prepare journal entries with proper documentation
- Support the preparation of AFS, management accounts, and other reports
- Provide support to senior accountants on audits and financial analysis
- Respond to client queries and offer general admin support as needed
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
- Experience with key accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of tax regulations, payroll compliance, and statutory filings
- Strong numerical accuracy and data integrity mindset
- Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
