The successful candidate will implement effective sales strategies, create promotional campaigns, and develop relationships with key clients. This role involves market research, representing the hotel at exhibitions and networking events, preparing sales proposals, and ensuring excellent customer service standards. The Hotel Sales Executive will work closely with the Revenue Manager to align sales strategies with financial goals and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue.
  • Create promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract targeted clientele.
  • Research new markets and business opportunities; monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Represent the hotel at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Prepare sales proposals for potential clients, highlighting the hotel’s features and services.
  • Monitor customer service quality and resolve any client complaints promptly.
  • Build and maintain sustainable client relationships to foster customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager on rate negotiations and revenue strategies.
  • Set annual sales goals, track progress, and report on performance.

Job Specifications / Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field advantageous.
