Global Trade Controls Co‑Op

Locations

Anasco, Puerto Rico; Guaynabo, Puerto Rico; Gurabo, Puerto Rico; Manatí, Puerto Rico; Mayagüez, Puerto Rico; New Brunswick, New Jersey; any city in New Jersey; any city in Ontario; San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico; additional locations across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Co‑op Term & Work Hours

The co‑op term is from January to July, ****. Full‑time requirement (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities
  • Data Analytics & Process Automation: Assist in transforming complex trade data into actionable insights, streamline processes through automation, and create compelling visualizations to support decision‑making at a global level.
  • Business‑Technical Liaison: Serve as a key link between the business team and the technical team, translating business needs into clear technical requirements. This role ensures the technical team fully understands the business context and objectives, enabling accurate and efficient solution implementation.
  • Team Execution: Support key areas of our organization, including execution of daily tasks, training, metrics, and related activities.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited university is required.
  • Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of a co‑op assignment, pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master of Science, and/or MBA, and not graduating before July 11th, ****.
  • Preferred majors: Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Biomedical, Chemical, Biochemical, Computer, Software, Systems, Electrical, Industrial), Materials Sciences, Packaging Sciences, Business (Management, Marketing, etc.), or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Experience with Data Analysis and Process Automation using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Alteryx, R, Tableau, SQL, Python, etc., is highly desirable.
  • Supply Chain Management / Global Trade Compliance knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills are required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results.
  • Self‑starter who works independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired.
  • Permits permanent authorization to work in the U.S.; must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H‑1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
Salary & Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is between $***** per hour and $***** per hour but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co‑ops/Interns are eligible to participate in company‑sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co‑ops and interns receive sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees residing in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. They are also eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension). For additional general information on company benefits, please refer to the benefits portal.
