Job description

Environment

This role is for a GenAI Art Director joining a global team of creative professionals specializing in film, CGI, automation, AI, motion design, and digital/print content. The team works with over 300 clients across 40+ countries. The Art Director will lead a team of Gen AI Creators and use the Pencil platform to create high-quality ads that meet client needs, whether for enterprise businesses or small companies. Your deep experience with GenAI tools, particularly in advertising and marketing, will be essential in guiding the team. You'll need positivity, energy, and problem-solving skills to push creative boundaries and inspire the team daily. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive impactful solutions, which will elevate your work and establish you as a leader in the GenAI field.

Duties

• Work with the Customer Success team to meet with clients, taking and refining briefs that meet client needs while best demonstrating GenAI capabilities within a systematic GenAI delivery process
• Oversee GenAI Creator(s) to deliver brief(s) through all steps including insight, concept, copy, image & video generation and final creative assembly using different GenAI models and techniques
• Where necessary, directly intervene in developing, generating or manually retouching outputs to meet quality standards across briefs
• Work with the Customer Success team to present creative outputs to clients, taking feedback and managing expectations on what GenAI can and cannot do
• Work with the Customer Success team and GenAI Creator team to structure a GenAI delivery process that allows for steps, prompts, time taken etc. to be shared transparently with clients
• Work with the Training team to actively explore, implement and explain new GenAI techniques to help the wider user base achieve high quality creative outputs
• Work with the Product & Engineering teams to test new GenAI features and provide feedback to drive platform improvements
• You would be responsible for both you and the teams to be actively AI proficient and keeping up to date by:
  • Completing ongoing, structured [IIG] AI training including Pencil.
  • Continuously up-skilling using the approved AI tools including Pencil.
  • Stay up to date with evolving AI trends through the newsletters, webinars, hackathons, AI communities etc
  • Facilitate collaborative knowledge-sharing sessions to foster an open exchange of AI expertise and embrace the culture of Learning.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in advertising creative development
• Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Mid-journey, Adobe Firefly, Jasper etc.
• Experience with GenAI techniques such as model selection & prompting
• Any experience using GenAI to deliver real-world advertising creative
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop)
• Preference for candidates who have prior agency experience
• Access to a reliable computer with an internet connection exceeding 40 Mbps
