Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor – Building to join our team. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on cost estimation and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and measure tender documents to ensure accurate cost projections.
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates to inform project decisions.
  • Negotiate payments and final accounts with stakeholders to minimize costs and maximize returns.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Measure and value variations, manage costs related to building projects, ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Procure subcontractors and materials as needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits, attend progress meetings, and maintain positive relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong understanding of cost estimation and management principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
