Job summary

An established mining company is seeking a General Engineering Supervisor (Electrical) to lead the maintenance program while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman, with key responsibilities including the management of engineering resources and the implementation of best practices in safety and efficiency. The role is based in Vereeniging, Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an appointed Electrical Foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and relevant standards.
• Strong understanding of machinery used in the Mining industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance programme and manage engineering assets.
• Ensure safe work practices and legal compliance.
• Optimize maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
