We are seeking a proactive and organisede-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end fulfilment activitieswithin a medium sized nationalomnichannel based in Cape Town. This roleis ideal for an individual who excels in a fast-paced setting, maintainscomposure under pressure, and ensures operational effectiveness across multiplesales channels.
You will be responsible for managing the full fulfilment workflow for online orders placed via the companies own websites, Takealot, Amazon and Makro. The focus of this position is to ensure accuracy, efficiency and reliability at every stage of the process, while leading and developing a capable ecommerce’s operations team.
Oversee and optimise the daily pick, pack and dispatch workflow
Manage marketplace listings, order turnaround times and courier coordination
Uphold data accuracy, inventory integrity and strict adherence to service-level agreements
Lead, support and develop a team of nine staff members, including a supervisor
Monitor ecommerce operational performance, analyse KPIs and drive continuous process improvements
Maintain stable and efficient operations during peak trading periods, including Black Friday, the Festive Season and major promotional events

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in e-Commerce operations(not negotiable)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketplace (not negotiable)
Strong working knowledge of Excel, WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, Takealot Seller Portal and Amazon Seller Central
A solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Proven ability to lead teams with clarity, structure and consistency
A passion for accuracy, efficient fulfilment and process-driven operations
Willingness to work additional hours during peak trading periods
