Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator in Kraaifontein, South Africa. The role involves organizing deliveries, handling customer queries, and ensuring efficient documentation. Applicants should have over 5 years of dispatch experience, good communication skills, and a valid forklift and driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is also required.

Job Description:

  • Organise and communicate with bulk and local outsource deliveries.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, ETA’s and late deliveries.
  • Ensure documentation for transport and deliveries are completed, filed and sent for invoicing daily.
  • Handle customer queries relating to dispatch.
  • Communicate roadmap, directions and contact details with customers.
  • Prepare vehicle routing for bulk and local deliveries.
  • Prepare waybills for bulk and local outsource deliveries.
  • Assist customers with collections and deliveries as required.
  • Check stock to assist pickers and escalate discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Organise and communicate with customers for the transportation of returns and credits.
  • Support with picking, packing and stock counts as required.
  • Participate in HSE activities, housekeeping and pro‑active reporting.
  • Participate in operation excellence and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with MIGO of incoming goods.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years working experience in dispatch
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid forklift license with experience of driving
  • Valid SA driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • SAP experience advantageous
