MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION: The main purpose of this role is to drive the growth and expansion of the business by achieving monthly GP targets through strategic sales, business development, and effective management of reseller relationships. This includes recruiting and onboarding new resellers, expanding product offerings within existing accounts, and ensuring the alignment of sales and marketing strategies with the company's goals. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date sales certifications, tracking and forecasting sales activities, and serving as the central point of contact for resellers on vendor programs. Regular reporting, pipeline management, and continuous communication with both resellers and internal teams are essential to ensure that sales targets are met, and the company's brand portfolio is effectively promoted and expanded.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales and Account Management of FD’s First for Datacenter, Cybersecurity, Networking, Dell to Allocated Reseller Database
  • Driving targets based on monthly GP targets on allocated accounts.
  • Sales, Business Development, into the allocated base of business partners.
  • Recruit and onboard additional resellers.
  • Expand product offerings within existing resellers.
  • Driving reseller business and marketing strategy to enable the expansion of the FD brand portfolio within existing and new targeted accounts.
  • Understand reseller strategy, programs, and complete portfolio of products.
  • Sales Certifications to be current on all brands and maintained.
  • Regular Business Review Sessions with Brand and Presales (FD).
  • Regular Pipeline Status of projected deals and probability of deal status.
  • Report on opportunity details to the Sales manager on a regular basis showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Discuss KPI and Target tracking weekly
  • Track and forecast, Partner Activities and the status of activities achieved.
  • Feedback on Brand performance and success measures, to be discussed in regular meetings with the Sales manager.
  • Engage and communicate Brand updates to Resellers.
  • Attend regular Brand discussions, planning, pipeline, and updating sessions with the Brand team.
  • Build and manage relationships with Key Resellers and FD Brand and Presales teams.
  • Be the Central point of contact for all resellers on Vendor Programmes (e.g. partner programs, incentive programs, and rebate programs). Loop in the FD Brand manager for support.
  • Ensure the satisfactory execution of the Reseller business strategy plan.
  • 20 Account management calls
  • Attend Vendor Conferences.
  • Demonstrate sales growth.
  • Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed reasoning.
