Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist (FULL TIME) to support one of our EU-based globally distributed client's team on a contract basis.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to extract insights, optimise decision-making, and develop data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model performance evaluation.
  • Create clear reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings.
  • Support the client's data strategy, ensuring scalability and reliability of solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI / ML and data science.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist (5+ years in a similar role).
  • Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data modelling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and / or Azure) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of MLOps frameworks for model deployment and monitoring.
  • GenAI / LLM experience
