Minimum Requirements

Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa. Minimum 3–5 years post‑admission experience in conveyancing. Proven experience in handling property transfers, sectional title developments, and bond registrations (ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank, FNB, etc.).

Strong knowledge of Deeds Office procedures and conveyancing law. Ability to draft and review sale agreements, transfer documents, and correspondence with all stakeholders. Excellent communication and client liaison skills. Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure files are processed accurately and efficiently. Experience working with LexisConvey or similar conveyancing software will be preferred. Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality legal service.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the full conveyancing process from instruction to registration.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and the Deeds Office.
  • Preparing and reviewing bond and transfer documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Maintaining regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervising or mentoring junior staff or paralegals where required.
