Operations Manager, Procurement, Logistics, Buyer and Accountant

Role Purpose :

To assist the legal professionals of the firm in performing their tasks efficiently, gain vital practical experience, and learn as the incumbent pursues their career leader of becoming a registered attorney.

Key Performance Areas :
  • Serving of and filing as instructed and on behalf of the firm
  • Prepare and attendance of matters at Magistrate Court
  • General Admin and legal related admin at the office
  • Updating of client files (filling of all relevant documents)
  • Opening and registration of client files
  • Report to the Senior on all issues of compliance pertaining to the law clinic
  • Keep abreast with and / or policy changes affecting the key matters being predominantly handled by the firm.
  • Perform other adhoc duties as assigned by direct supervisor and Management from time to time within reason.
Qualifications and Experience Indicator

Requirements :

  • Matric and LLB Degree is mandatory required.
  • Permanent residency in South Africa or SA Citizen is an essential requirement.
  • Driver's license and own car is an essential requirement.
Attributes, technical and Behavioral Skills desired :
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy as a demonstrable skill is required.
  • Demonstrable written and verbal English, Afrikaans and any other South African language is required.
  • Good knowledge of Court Process
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Great communication and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on outstanding matters / task.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to rapidly changing environments is and legislative changes as desired;
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work on multiple tasks will be critical.
  • High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to build trust, respect and managing confidentiality internally within the firm and externally when dealing with clients.
  • Service oriented attitude and drive for results
  • Be willing to work overtime sometimes if the need arises in the organization.
