Job summary

A leading automation company in Gqeberha is seeking a Qualified Electrical Artisan. The role involves wiring and testing panels, supporting assembly requirements, and working alongside engineers to meet project milestones. Candidates should have 2-3 years' experience in an automation environment, proficiency in English and Afrikaans, and the ability to use electrical assembly tools. Preference will be given to designated groups according to the Employment Equity Act.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years' experience in Automation electrical assembly.
  • Experience in field wiring, fault finding, and panel building.
  • Ability to work with electrical assembly hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Wire and test panels using electrical designs.
  • Support electrical assembly requirements to completion.
  • Understand and transform electrical designs into functional panels.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical and Control System Engineers.
  • Comply with safety regulations and ISO procedures.
