THIS IS A DIGITAL MEDIA VACANCY (Jan

Looking for an Account Manager based in Johannesburg to lead client relationships and help shape the new division's growth from day one.

Responsible for managing agency and brand partnerships, building creative and commercial proposals, and driving new format adoption across the Programmatic landscape.

Need to understand the ecosystem, the margins, and the negotiations, but also love a good creative breakthrough.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow key relationships with agencies, trading desks, and brands.
  • Translate client objectives into high-impact campaign ideas using the new division's custom formats.
  • Oversee campaign delivery, ensuring execution excellence and measurable results.
  • Educate clients on the new division of our company, offering and the strategic advantage of interactive display.
  • Collaborate with Product, Creative, and Operations teams to turn ideas into market-ready formats.
  • Negotiate deals, maintain healthy margins, and ensure commercial sustainability.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future outcomes.
  • Help define the positioning and go-to-market strategy for the new division of the company and beyond.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, preferably in Programmatic or Display Advertising.
  • Understanding of DSPs, trading desks, margins, and campaign optimisation.
  • Strong relationships across agencies and brands in South Africa.
  • Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into client value.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
