You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, systems, and performance improvement efforts within the OSS–General Services division.

Key responsibilities

• Operational Oversight
  Ensure seamless delivery of essential services including:
  Security and carpark operations
  Mailroom services
  Telecommunications systems and support
  Mortuary operations
  Audio-visual systems and support

• Contract and Cost Management
  Evaluate and review service, lease, and license agreements to ensure value and efficiency.

• Service Improvement
  Collaborate with internal teams and departments across NUH to identify and implement process enhancements.

• Feedback and Incident Management
  Oversee the handling of service feedback and incident reports, ensuring timely resolution, disciplinary actions (if required), and workflow updates.

• Liaison with External Agencies
  Work with external bodies (e.g., the Police, MOH) on policy reviews and implementing operational plans.

• Financial Support
  Contribute to budget planning, monitoring, and reviews for the department.

• Policy and SOP Management
  Assist in the review and updates of departmental policies and standard operating procedures.

• Training and Development
  Support planning and evaluation of training programmes for staff.

• Emergency Preparedness
  Review and update the department's emergency response strategies and plans.

• Audio-Visual Coordination
  Partner with end users and technical consultants to resolve AV issues and coordinate equipment installations.

• Ad-Hoc Duties
  Carry out any additional responsibilities as delegated by the Supervisor.

• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
• At least 10 years of relevant administrative and managerial experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines effectively
