Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a Purchasing Assistant. The role includes tracking supplier performance, sourcing new vendors, and managing purchasing processes using MRP systems. Candidates should have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing. This permanent position offers working hours from Monday to Friday, and transport is provided.

Responsibilities
- Track supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, price, support).
- Find and qualify new suppliers to expand the vendor list.
- Buy materials and components using the MRP system.
- Ensure orders arrive on time; follow up on outstanding orders.
- Drive cost-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Create and maintain stock codes in the MRP system.
- Submit a monthly purchasing status report.
Education
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Production
- Position Title: Purchasing Assistant/ Purchasing Officer
- Working Location: North East (Transport provided)
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
