Site Supervisor jobs in Singapore

Salary: $2500 + $125 Meal Allowance + OT + VB

Working hours: 6 days/week, 1 day off

2 rotating shifts:

Day: 7 am to 4 pm, 8 am to 5 pm

Afternoon: 1 - 10 pm, 2 - 11 pm

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms and corridors meet cleanliness standards.
• Stay alert, knowledgeable, and organized, especially during busy periods.
• Help train staff, maintain grooming and conduct standards, and ensure rules and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with other departments like Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and Room Service.
• Report any damage or theft of hotel property immediately.
• Ensure lost and found items are reported and processed properly.
• Assist with inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment and keep floor pantries stocked with supplies and linen as per standard levels.
• Oversee special cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet shampooing, deep cleaning).
• Prioritize tasks, assign work, and motivate team members.
• Report poor staff performance and provide daily updates to the Housekeeper.
• Be flexible with shifts and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure timely and proper room cleaning following standard procedures and check cleaning tools and equipment twice daily.
• Keep RA trolleys neat and stocked; maintain pantries and service areas.
• Make sure VIP rooms are ready on time and meet high standards.
• Communicate last-minute VIP arrivals and check their rooms.
• Use checklists to inspect rooms and areas, including vacant, occupied, and out-of-order rooms.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues.
• Handle guest requests and borrowed items properly.
• Report suspicious activity and handle “Do Not Disturb” rooms correctly.
• Ensure room status accuracy before updating the Duty Manager.
• Maintain personal and team hygiene and appearance.
• Enforce discipline and order within the department and ensure policies and standards are followed.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Send room discrepancy updates to Front Office twice daily.
• Understand all room types and categories and inspect common areas as per hotel standards.
