JOB DESCRIPTION

SITE MANAGER

• Assisting the project manager to ensure smooth running of site operations and monitoring of work progress at sites.
• Responsible for site management which includes planning, supervising.
• Ensure the quality of work is achieved and the safety and environmental regulations are complied and met in align with the project completion time frame.
• To review materials requisitions, execute overall scheduling and specific planning work.
• Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project according to set requirements.
• Construction planning, and to co-ordinate with the client, sub-contractors, consultants and Authorities on all project aspects.
• To work and collaborate closely with project managers, architects, consultants, engineers, stakeholders etc to ensure all site activities are in order and as per schedule plan to facilitate smooth completion of project and meet client requirements.
• Managing and monitoring of subcontractors’ work progress and quality
• Provide guidance to engineers and supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure site progress is according to schedule, quality standards are maintained and site inspections are carried out and issued are resolved on time.
• Leading and managing of workers and subcontractors on site.
• Prepare progress report and work schedule and attend project related meetings.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks by the PM.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural / M&E Engineering or any equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of construction experience in Singapore, preferably 3 years of managerial experience
• Good knowledge of construction methods, technologies and able to interpret drawings and contracts
• Good communication and people management skills and able to interact with staff and workers from various disciplines
• Able to work independently and have good time management
• Experience in building construction highly preferred
