Job summary

A Singaporean construction company seeks a Site Supervisor to assist the project engineer with daily site operations, supervise subcontractors, and ensure quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in main contractor roles, familiarity with local building standards, and a BCSS certificate. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in main-con companies.
• Experience with large HDB projects preferred.
• Familiarity with local building codes and project implementation.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist project engineer carry out supervisory roles on the day to day operation on the site
• Supervise the sub-contractors work progress on site according to the work schedule
• Checking on the quality of material to ensuring of workmanship to achieve the target of schedules.
• Lead a team of inspectors and to handle incoming, in-process and finished goods issues in a timely and orderly manner.
• Assist project engineer coordinate and oversee all the structural / architectural works on site
• Assist engineer monitor and coordinate the works with subcontractors and handling suppliers and sub-contractors problem on site
• Ensure site safety and carry out safe work procedures to control risk
• In-change and supervise a team of the migrant worker daily operation work
• Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least have BCSS certificate
• Min 5 year relevant experience in the related field for this position in main-con companies, preferably handle large HDB Project expirence.
• Familiar with local standards, project implementation and building codes.
• Able to start work within short notice
