Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and manage shipping and customs documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits, declarations) to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Submit and monitor customs clearance processes in line with Singapore Customs and destination country requirements.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal departments, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely logistics execution.
Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for freight and customs-related services, working closely with the Finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor changes in customs policies and trade regulations; communicate updates to relevant internal teams.
Assist in customs inspections, audits, and investigations, and maintain accurate and auditable compliance records.
Provide internal training or briefings to increase awareness of customs and trade compliance obligations.
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
Completion of the Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants is mandatory.
Holding a valid Customs Declarant Certificate is a strong advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or customs compliance.
Strong working knowledge of Singapore Customs regulations and international trade procedures.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
