Qualifications

  • 5.5 working days with alternate Saturdays.
  • Willingness to work overtime regularly.
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Handle import and export customs clearance in compliance with regulations.
  • Classify goods using HS codes and calculate duties and taxes.
  • Prepare all required shipping and customs documentation.
  • Liaise with customs for timely clearance.
  • Submit import and export permit applications.
  • Coordinate with agencies for licenses or approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with trade requirements.
  • Support logistics operations with internal departments.
  • Communicate with clients and brokers for updates.
  • Maintain records and support audits by authorities.
  • Keep updated with customs laws and regulations.

Working location : Singapore

Job Description:
  • Responsible for handling import and export customs clearance in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Classifies goods accurately using HS codes and calculates applicable duties and taxes.
  • Prepares and verifies all required shipping and customs documentation.
  • Liaises with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • Submits permit applications for imports and exports through systems.
  • Coordinates with government agencies to obtain necessary licenses or approvals.
  • Ensures all shipments meet local and international trade compliance requirements.
  • Works closely with internal departments to support logistics operations.
  • Communicates with clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to provide shipment updates and resolve issues.
  • Maintains accurate records and supports audits or inspections by customs or trade authorities.
  • Keeps up-to-date with customs laws, free trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
  • 5.5 working day, alternate Saturday
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office
  • Possess good work ethics and positive working attitude
  • Able to handle pressure & adapt in a fast-pace environment
