Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Solution Designer to manage application support and enhancements for Enterprise Billing applications. This position requires at least 5 years of IT experience and expertise in database querying, as well as strong communication skills. This Senior Solution Designer role focuses on both application support works and enhancements delivery works for Enterprise Billing applications.

Make an Impact by:

  • Able to work and manage all business & IT stakeholders do end to end solutioning, proactively involve in full stack/flow of end to end software/application developments life cycle, provide production support and maintenance for Enterprise Billing applications supporting Singtel’s Enterprise and Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Units.
  • Manage daily operations together with the appointed vendors on the various support and maintenance activities: To trouble shoot, identify and fix the technical and operational issues as per SLA. To provide root cause analysis of the issue.
  • Follow-up with incidents resolution with business users to closure.
  • Maintain and update technical documents and procedures.
  • Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues and incidents.
  • Respond and report promptly to management and business users regarding critical outages until resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Provide 7 x 24 production support including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, software or computer engineering fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT working experience and at least 2 years of experience in full stack/flow of end to end software/application developments life cycle, providing production support in all the required investigations, resolutions and fixes for mission critical applications and monitoring of production health for issues and problems.
  • Experience in technical areas: Database Query using Oracle, PL/SQL, MSSQL, C, C++, .Net.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with other internal /external departments, and personnel of various levels.
