Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for creating accurate manufacturing sequences for quality finished products. You will analyze production statuses and establish production times while recommending process improvements. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering. Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
- Ability to create accurate manufacturing sequences.
- Experience reviewing prints and determining process plans.
Responsibilities
- Create manufacturing sequences for quality finished products.
- Analyze production status using computerized systems.
- Establish standard production times and recommend improvements.
Skills
- This position is responsible for creating accurate and routine manufacturing sequences whereby raw materials and assemblies are processed into quality finished products using the most economical and efficient means.
- Work performed requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Reviews prints and requirements of items to be manufactured and determines the process plans/routings, instructions, methods, procedures, tooling, etc. required.
- Uses computerized files/systems to analyze production status and creates manufacturing process for parts/assembly by specifying machines to be utilized, stages of manufacture, and routing stages required to produce finished part.
- Establishes standard production times for parts and/or assemblies, recommends improvements/modifications, and discusses/resolves impact of process plans with other departments as required.
- 2-4 years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
