We are seeking a skilled and hands‑on Audio Visual Team Leader to oversee the hotel’s AV operations and deliver flawless events. This role manages daily setups, technical operations, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision, ensuring every function meets the highest technical and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the AV team to ensure seamless delivery of meetings, banquets, weddings, and corporate events.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems, including microphones, speakers, LED walls, lighting control, and projectors.
Manage preventive maintenance, inventory, repairs, and proper storage of AV equipment.
Plan manpower deployment, control expenses, and source competitive quotes for equipment purchase or hire.
Train AV staff and casual labour in AV, LED, and lighting systems; keep the team updated with industry advancements.
Work closely with other departments and clients to deliver exceptional technical support and exceed expectations.
Requirements
Proven experience in AV operations, ideally in hospitality or events.
Strong technical knowledge of audio, visual, LED, and lighting systems.
Leadership skills with the ability to lead a hands‑on team.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
