Job Overview

We are exploring mid and long-term innovation opportunities driven by AI. Our Corporate Research department is seeking a talented Data Scientist to develop advanced AI-driven business solutions using large industry datasets and GenAI technologies. In this role, you will work closely with business units, international cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation through advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI/AIoT applications.

Responsibilities

· Collaborates with HQ, business units, and the external partners (universities, institutions, start-ups and etc) on AI R&D projects.

· Coordinate with IoT specialists and technical experts to build data-driven solutions aimed at operational excellence and process optimization.

· Design and implement LLM-based AI solutions for document intelligence and unstructured data extraction (e.g. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), to interpret and extract text, images, tables, charts, and engineering drawings.

· Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and autonomous agents for efficient information retrieval and context-aware generation.

· Conduct continuous AI technology scouting and evaluate emerging tools for document processing, image/drawing interpretation, semantic comparison, and summarization.

· Perform statistical data analyses and develop custom models and algorithms to extract insights and solve domain-specific challenges using industry datasets.

· Deploy AI models and technical solutions in production environments, providing support, monitoring, and performance improvements.

Requirements

· Master’s, or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s holders are welcome to apply.

· Proficient in Python language and associated web frameworks (e.g. FASTAPI), ML libraries (e.g. SkLearn, Pandas, Pytorch) and LLM/ agent frameworks (e.g. Langchain, LlamaIndex).

· Proven expertise in LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, open-source models), RAG architectures, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and document intelligence tools.

· Familiar with SQL, NoSQL, and vector database design and management, both on-premises and in cloud environments.

· Experience in MLOps, DevSecOps and exposure to AIoT solution design and deployment will be advantageous.

· Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and innovative mindset.
