About your role

• Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement activities, including sourcing, liaising and negotiating with suppliers to obtain best price and service, costing analysis, negotiate contracts, terms and deadline with vendors and suppliers.

• Assisting to plan, execute, direct and coordinate the procurement activities involved in materials, parts & equipment, products, services according to project plans and office stationery & equipment.

• Continuously strive for improvement in lead times, minimum order size, reduction of purchase costs and improvement in product quality from suppliers.

• Responsible in negotiating for the best deal package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service without compromising quality, and optimise freight and shipping terms to streamline operations and control costs) with suppliers.

• Conduct cost and service comparisons, presenting recommendations for supplier awards.

• Oversee purchasing operation and control spend and build a culture of long term saving on procurement cost.

• Responsible on purchasing requisition, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing.

• Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing for all purchasing activities in the system.

• Support all office administrative activities of Carro Singapore.

• Other duties to be performed as and when required by the superior.

Job Requirements: -

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Purchasing / Business Administration or suitably recognized field that is applicable.

• At least 2-4 years working experience in related field.

• Well verse with the use of Microsoft Excel, Words etc.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.

• Good knowledge in construction procurement processes.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Candidate with experience work in building construction for architecture and ID works will be an advantage.

• Able to speak, read and write in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. (In order to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking overseaS suppliers).
