Position Summary:

Lumileds is seeking a highly-qualified Staff or senior Equipment Engineer to take responsibility for Operations Engineering under Lithography and WET Engineering Module. In this role, you will handle daily equipment-related operations, and work with process engineers and shift teams to sustain and improve the module KPIs.

• Equipment owner of WET and Plating (Nexx Plating, WET bench, SSEC, D-Sonic/HPS, DRYER, WTJ, SEMSYSCO, SRD, OVEN, SCOPE, Thickness Tools).
• Attend equipment related issues in production line.
• Work with process engineer on improving the yield loss, quality concern and process induced defects.
• Responsible for machine Uptime, MTBF, MTTR.
• Perform machine repairs, troubleshooting to achieve minimal downtime.
• Identify equipment failures, pareto of issues and weak point analysis for improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors, parts suppliers to reduce equipment cost of ownership.
• Establishing good equipment controls such as corrective and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Lead and execute improvement projects that reduce cost of equipment ownership and equipment performance.
• Responsible for new equipment purchases, installation and buy-off.
• Develop and monitor operating budget.
• Develop good equipment training program to bring up good maintenance skill among associate engineers and technicians.
• Mitigate risk capacity and capability bottleneck.
• Conformance to 5S and safety rules and regulation.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of Equipment Engineering with minimum 7 years working on WET, SSEC, and Plating tools. Diploma holder with relevant experience who able to demonstrate the right skills are welcome to apply.
• Experience in leading a group of technicians and engineers in equipment maintenance program will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of semiconductor/wet and plating process flow.
• Experience with structuring maintenance operations, especially preventive maintenance systems and/or TPM will be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Self-driven leader and strong team player with keen technical ability, systematic approach, detailed-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and positive attitude.
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, be hands-on and expected to dive into technical details as required.
• Additional experience in Lithography equipment will be an advantage.
