Job summary
A healthcare provider in Singapore seeks a Senior / Staff Nurse for community nursing. Responsibilities include patient education on health promotion and illness prevention, basic health assessments, and home care services. Ideal candidates possess a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, are registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and have 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential. This is a full-time on-site position.
Qualifications
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience in a Community Setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and health coaching in community.
- Conduct health promotion and illness prevention activities.
- Perform primary care assessments and health education.
- Deliver home care services for patients transitioning from hospital.
Skills
Education
As a Senior / Staff Nurse in Community Nursing, you will be required to perform nursing care and health coaching within the areas of:
- Health Promotion & Illness Prevention through patient education
- Primary Care by performing basic assessment and health education to the general public
- Home Care services for patients transiting from hospital to home
- Any other community related duties will be assigned.
- Possess Diploma / Degree in Nursing and must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience in Community Setting
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Strong organisational, coordination, interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to converse in local languages is preferred
