Zusammenfassung
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to ensure timely tax submissions and manage financial processes. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting and relevant qualifications. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. This full-time position offers a standard 5-day work week.
Qualifikationen
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in handling full set of accounts.
- Candidates should possess relevant educational qualifications.
Aufgaben
- Ensure timely IRAS submissions and tax clearances.
- Liaise with external accountants or auditors during financial closing.
- Monitor accounts receivable collection and overdue accounts.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including payments and reconciliation.
- Prepare GST returns, CPF, and tax filings.

- Ensure timely IRAS submissions (IR8A, IR21) and tax clearances.
- Liaise with external accountants or auditors during the annual financial closing process
- Monitor the AR collection and closely follow up on the overdue accounts.
- Manage A/P process payments, reconciliation and SOA.
- Bookkeeping is using QuickBooks
- Prepare GST returns, CPF, Tax filings and submission
- Handle general office administrative duties.
- Liaise with Auditors during the yearly audit
- Candidates should possess at least minimum NITEC / LCCI / Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in full set of accounts
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Possess positive working attitude with a high level of initiative
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- 5 days week
